ABOUT US
History
DB9 Geospatial was established in 2009 in order to create geo-coordinated videos for pipeline route investigations.
​
The early projects used the then "State of the Art" Red Hen systems for mapping in road vehicles, on helicopters or aeroplanes.
​
DB9 now use multiple stabilised cameras mounted on a purpose built Unimog truck for road and off-road surveys. In addition, we have a number of drones to get to places where there are no roads

ARROW ENERGY
SURAT GLADSTONE PIPELINE
We mapped the entire 680km pipeline and a number of alternative routes both on the ground and in the air.
2013
ARROW ENERGY
BOWEN GLADSTONE PIPELINE
We mapped over 1000km of the proposed gas pipeline route and a number of alternative routes both on the ground and in the air.
2019/2020
CARMICHAEL RAIL NETWORK
(GALILEE BASIN RAIL PROJECT)
We mapped the access roads to the construction camps and main access points along the 200km railway, along with drone survey of road crossings and mapping over 1600km of roadway for per-construction condition surveys

We mapped the entire route, including a number of alternatives using four geo-located cameras providing the Design Consultant with detailed visual data for route selection greatly reducing the need for site visits and providing data for environmental surveys of flora

We performed per-consstruction and post-construction geo-located video survey providing the Client with detailed visual data of the road easement and associated driveway and fences to offset potential damage and disruption claims caused by the construction contractor.
